I have been working with the U.S. Census Bureau for the past 2 years and there was no questions on the EQ form about religion. So, where did you get your information from?
a decade ago, the 2010 census found there were 1,561,086 jehovah's witnesses in mexico (census page > tabular data > basic questionnaire > religion).
and according to the recently released 2020 census results, the number of mexicans identifying as such has declined by 2% to 1,530,909. both figures greatly outnumber those reported by the organization (e.g., peak publishers: 710 thousands and 874 thousands respectively), which means the former ones include children and free-riders.
for comparison, the total population has grown by 12%, the catholic, adventist (sda) and mormon (lds) populations - by 5%, 16% and 6% respectively.

Wonderful response. If you read my earlier posts, you will notice that I was a all in JW, hook, line and sinker. My wife and I had a combined 34 years of regular pioneering, besides me 21 years as an Elder, COBE, Convention Program Overseer, Assembly and Convention Speaker. I spent a week in Patterson NY for special training, so many other “privileges”, it just makes me more angry the more I think of it. We devoted 40 years of our life on the premise that we would never grow old in this System of Things (wasted years). We never planned on retirement.
I just want to read of people like me who made the same Mistake and how they are coping now, it’s like therapy for me.

hi guys,.
it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.
almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.
I wished that I had saved mine. There was some stuff printed in the 80’s and 90’s that has changed. Such expressions as “this System of Things will come to an end before the 20th Century is over”, has been replaced with the expression “in our Lifetime “ in the online library.
Before l left, I had an Elder tell me that the Society never said that. I had to take a picture of the 93 Awake Bound Volume in the Kingdom Hall library and send it to him to prove my point. He later called my and said not to speak of this again. Library cleaned out, and everyone is told to use the JW online library. I Disassociated myself afterwards.

He was truly a beautiful and humble person who was treated horribly.
a year since i posted, husband and i are still sfts but we're relatively free.
i gave birth to twins some months back, moved out of india, then back to india because it's easier to maintain our cover.. things are much more peaceful now that there are no in-person meetings.
i have a strange feeling that my husband is also pimo but i'm taking things slow.
With your interactions with fellow Witnesses, what the general vibe right now? How are they coping?
i cannot find the verse where it talks about several self appointed men that went behind closed doors to render their decision regarding circumcision.
all i see is that it was the apostles, older men and the congregation that came to a decision.
perfect example of why we need the governing body today.
Verses 22,23 talks about the Apostles and older Men (a Governing Body), rendering a decision.
here we are, the family and i, moving along in our slow journey to freedom.
although they are unaware, for the most part, our ship is slowly veering off course.
not enough to cause attention, not enough to trigger alarm bells, but just enough.. since the summer dc, i have watched carefully, as the new releases remain on the coffee table, in plain sight, not touched, more of a decoration that anything.
Tech49 you out there?
